Demetrius is an incredibly talented local artist from Suffolk, Va and beloved member of Whaleyville United Methodist Church.  His artwork brings joy to his friends and neighbors, and we are blessed that he brings in his latest drawings to share with all of us after service.  God has gifted him with an amazing talent that he puts to good use each and every day, as he pulls himself up by his bootstraps, as he likes to say.  Demetrius always credits God for getting him out of bed each day to start drawing.  His artwork is also on display at the Whaleyville Recreation Center.  Demetrius is a joyful inspiration for all of us at WUMC, please enjoy his artwork in this gallery!  Click on any picture below to enlarge and view.
